Telecom Italia Plans to Commercialize Wibro Service in 2007

Telecom Italia announced at the Winter Olympics currently being held in Turin, Italy, that it plans to commercialize Wibro services starting in January 2007. In 2006 the operator, in cooperation with Samsung, will continue its trial services in preparation for commercialization. Furthermore, Wibro services are being or are expected to be tested in the United Kingdom, Brazil, and Venezuela in 2006.
